Hello and welcome to
City Mazda's June
e-news.
|
June is here and with it comes the cooler weather, but there is still plenty to celebrate at City Mazda.
We are very excited to be celebrating Mazda’s 50th anniversary in Australia at the same time that Mazda is enjoying yet another fantastic month of sales with the ever growing success of the next generation Mazda3.
This also comes as we encourage our business customers to take advantage of the Government’s small business tax break.
Be sure to come down to the dealership to take advantage of our current savings at City Mazda.

| 50 YEARS OF MAZDA AUSTRALIA |
Mazda is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in the Australian marketplace and how far the company has come.
 |
When Mazda was first launched in Australia in 1959 it sold just one vehicle – the three wheeler mini-truck.
Now the Mazda range has grown to including passenger cars, SUVs, utility vehicles and sports performance cars, as Mazda has become Australia’s number one full-line importer for the third year in a row.
The Mazda range has also continued to win numerous awards and place as some of the best-sellers among their categories including the perennial favourite the Mazda3.
This year has also seen the introduction of the next generation Mazda3 with several other new models having already or still to come including the sporty MX-5 and the next generation CX-7 set to arrive in September.
To help commemorate this momentous occasion Mazda has launched its 50th End of Financial Year Sale.
Be sure to visit the dealership today to pick up an amazing deal and help us celebrate 50 years of Mazda!

From now until 31st December businesses will be eligible to apply for the Federal Government’s Small Business and General Business Tax Break.
|
|
Businesses will be able to claim an additional 50 per cent tax deduction for eligible assets from now until the end of the year with concessions for small businesses.
The temporary business tax break will help Australian businesses boost investment, bolster economic activity, and support Australian jobs during the difficult times that we are facing.
In lieu of this, small businesses will be eligible to claim an additional 50 per cent tax deduction for eligible assets costing $1,000 or more acquired from 13th December 2008 to 31st December 2009, and installed by 31st December 2010.
In order for a small business to benefit from this tax break they must have a turnover of $2 million or less a year.
|
|
Other businesses can receive a 30 per cent deduction for eligible assets greater than $10,000 purchased from 13th December 2008 to 30th June 2009 and installed by 30th June 2010.
A 10 per cent tax deduction will apply for eligible assets acquired from 1st July to 31st December 2009 and installed before 31st December 2010.
The tax bonus will apply to tangible assets with depreciating value used in everyday business activities, including fleet vehicles.
Contact us for more information on how your business can best advantage from the Small Business and General Business Tax Break.

MAZDA3 CONTINUES TO TURN HEADS
|
|
In the wake of its debut onto the Australian market last month the next generation Mazda3 has boosted Mazda to the top of the small car sales tally for the second time this year.
According to April VFACTS figures Mazda sold 2,503 previous and new generation Mazda3s last month making it the top-selling small car and second best-selling passenger vehicle in the country.
|
|
And this all during the global economic downturn when there are constant calls of doom and gloom.
Mazda is most certainly going against the tide with its year-on-year market share increasing by 0.54 per cent registering 8.7 per cent of the market.
The new sporty, sleek and compact next generation Mazda3 has led the pack of Mazda’s amazing sales and with the flagship Mazda3 MPS set to arrive later this year it is only set to continue.

| NEW CX-7 TO ARRIVE IN SEPTEMBER |
|
|
You heard it here first – the next generation Mazda CX-7 is set to arrive at City Mazda by September of this year after its world premiers at recent international motor shows.
|
Receiving a facelift as well as possible drivetrain alterations the new CX-7 is set to continue the perfect balance between an athletic and speedy sports car as well as the practicality of an SUV that the CX-7 is famous for.
Continuing to produce a sports crossover like no other with upgrades on the inside and out, but most importantly adding comfort and safety, the new CX-7 is sure to impress.
Stay tuned for more information as we eagerly await this new model.
