Hello and welcome to
City Mazda's March e-news.
|
City Mazda is very excited to welcome in March, as we have plenty of exciting news from the dealership, thanks to the Melbourne International Motor Show wrapping up for another year.
The Motor Show marked the Australian debut of the new Mazda3 as the covers were lifted on this exciting new model awaiting its release onto the market next month.
We also remind you to have your car serviced in the lead up to Easter and introduce you to some of our newest staff members.
Enjoy this edition and we look forward to seeing you at the dealership soon.

The next generation Mazda3 has almost arrived at our dealership as we wait with bated breath for this exciting new model to join our ranks.
After having made its international debut late last year, the brand new next generation Mazda3 had its covers lifted at the Melbourne International Motor Show at the beginning of the month.
The next generation Mazda3 sedan and hatch promise even higher levels of quality, practicality, performance and value than the first generation model that topped the sales charts in Australia for January and February.
It will also take small car safety and equipment levels to new heights with Dynamic Stability Control standard on all models, and Satellite Navigation and Bluetooth connectivity standard on more than half of the new Mazda3 range
Having waited since October last year for this new model to arrive we are eagerly anticipating its April release.
Click here to register your interest in the new Mazda3 and be one of the first to take it for a spin.

OUR DEALERSHIP IS SIMPLY THE BEST
|
|
City Mazda has now been in our new home located at 14-28 Montague Street, South Melbourne since the beginning of the year.
|
|
|
|
|
Our staff and customers have been giving our new premises a huge nod of approval over our first three months and we have been thrilled with the response.
Mazda Australia is so impressed with the standard of our new state-of-the-art facility that we were recommended to Mazda Japan to feature our showroom and workshop in the global Mazda newsletter portraying the best practice in design, innovation, and presentation.
We always knew it, but now it is official – City Mazda is the best Mazda dealership in the world!

The City Mazda team has grown over the last few months as we welcomed two new additions to our team.
|
First up we have Maree Dunlop who has joined us as our new Vehicle Care Consultant.
After having worked in the automotive industry for the past 15 years, Maree has tried her hand as a Sales Consultant, Business Manager, Stock Control Manager, and numerous other positions at dealerships.
Maree has now been with City Mazda for a couple of weeks saying that she most enjoys the interaction she has with our customers.
Spending her weekends playing tennis, bike riding, painting, and enjoying fine dining with a fine drop of wine, Maree believes the most important thing in life is to always have fun and be happy.
She also believes that the most important element to look for in a car is safety and maintaining your investment.
We would also like to introduce you to our newest staff member, Adam Constable, who has been with City Mazda for only a matter of days.
Joining us as our Senior Sales Consultant, Adam brings with him 10 years experience in the automotive industry after having worked as an Assistant Sales Manager at another Mazda dealership for the past two years.

Maree Dunlop and Adam Constable
|
Hailing from Adelaide, Adam enjoys going back home for visits, eating out, and surfing down in Torquay, believing that it is important to live life to the full.
Adam also says that his favourite part of the job is dealing with people and the most important thing to look for in a new car is build quality and reliability.
We welcome Maree and Adam to the City Mazda team and wish them all the best.

Finish off the afternoon perfectly by polishing off these yummy dark chocolate Easter eggs coated in chocolate sprinkles.
Preparation Time – 30 minutes
Cooking Time – 10 minutes
Makes 24
Ingredients
200g good-quality dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
100ml thickened cream
10 Arnott's Chocolate Ripple biscuits
70g (1/4 cup) chocolate sprinkles
|
|
Method
Place the chocolate and cream in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half filled with simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn't touch the water). Use a metal spoon to stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm.
Place biscuits in the bowl of a food processor and process until finely chopped. Add to chocolate mixture and stir until combined. Cover and place in the fridge for 3 hours or until firm.
Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Spread the chocolate sprinkles over a plate. Roll 2 teaspoonfuls of the mixture into an egg shape. Roll in the chocolate sprinkles to coat. Place on the lined tray. Repeat with the remaining chocolate mixture. Place in the fridge to chill before serving.
You can make this recipe up to 1 week in advance. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
